Another Successful Camporee!

Los Amigos Camporee 2015 was a success! Over 200 Scouts came out for the weekend camping event. There was a wide range of events that everyone took part in such as 22. Rifle range, tomahawk throwing, Knot tying, Golden Spoon cooking Competition, and many more. It rained periodically on Saturday but that did not deter the Scouts nor the Adults from getting out there and having an amazing time.

A special thanks is in order to the Camporee Chair who helped to coordinate the event: Harry Young. Through his leadership and efforts, Los Amigos was able to have an exceptional time out at Firestone Scout Reservation. Harry recruited the help of Troop 1814 and various Order of the Arrow members to help clear out foliage from the park prior to people arriving.

Overall, it was an incredible weekend and one that will not be forgotten. If you have any feedback of your own about it, feel free to leave it here or on the Camporee website as well!
