Mailing List Helps

Membership in the Los Amigos Mailing List is for scouts, leaders and parents who reside in the Los Amigos District ONLY.

Before you can use the mailing list you MUST be a subscriber. The list is unmoderated, which means that any subscriber of the list may send messages through the list without having their message approved by a moderator. Replies to any message from the list will be sent back to the person who created the message and not to the list itself. Attachments are not permitted. If you have items that you need to make available to the list, then they should be posted on the district web site for all to download as they wish and not transmitted through the list.

  Posting/Subscription Information

To Subscribe to the mailing list use the Contact Us form and select "Mailing List Sign-Up Request".

Be sure you include your personal information so that I can confirm who you are.

This information will be kept private, but it's required so that I can verify your eligibility to subscribe to the mailing list.

You MUST do this from the Email address that you wish to subscribe with.  You will then receive a confirmation Email that you must respond to. This will verify your Email address. When you reply to this confirmation Email your request will be posted for a moderator to respond to. This is usually done within a day. Once the moderator approves your request you receive a final Email advising you that your request has been approved.

The instructional Email should be kept for future reference as it will contain information that's important for you to know in the list operation.
