INTRODUCTION

What is WEBELOS WOODS?  Webelos Woods is an opportunity for Webelos Scouts to have fun, enjoy their peers, and display their Scouting Skills in an air of competition and fellowship.  Simply put, Webelos Woods lets Webelos be Webelos.  In addition, Webelos Scouts are given the chance to experience the vast world of Boy Scouting in its purest and most traditional form.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

Any registered Webelos Scout and supporting adults.  Non-Scout siblings are strongly discouraged from attending this event.  Parents are fully responsible for any siblings who do attend.  Camp rules apply to all family members in attendance.

Los Amigos Top Boy Scout troops will provide patrols to conduct the training and competitive events. Scoutmasters may select a single patrol, whether it’s an honor patrol, a senior patrol, or a leadership patrol, or any patrol representative of the troop.  The entire Troop may attend this event but the Scoutmaster will need to be sure that all the boys participate in one or more of the day’s events.  Troops may use this event as an advancement outing and are encouraged to use this event as a recruitment for new scouts.

WHERE IS WEBELOS WOODS LOCATED?

The event will be held at Firestone Scout Reservation in Brea, California.  The boundaries of the event area will be clearly marked.  No attendee is permitted to go beyond these boundaries.
